About us

Established in 1974, we now represent 99% of Banff/Lake Louise hotel properties. We make up the largest group of taxpayers and employers in the National Park. Six years ago, we expanded our membership to include those companies that work with our facilities and/or share our concerns for the business community, and since 1999, our Associate Membership has expanded from 76 to 150. With advocates such as our Associate Members and the businesses they represent, we’ve continued to act as a powerful voice for the business community.

Our mandate is to help the tourism industry work towards common political and economic interests and goals. Some of the highlights of our efforts last year are outlined on the attached list. As you will note, we continued to initiate and/or support a number of issues that were common to our Regular and Associate Members and our endeavours were beneficial to all of the business community in our area.

There will be excellent networking opportunities again this year, and a chance to be an active member of a worthwhile business organization. Our annual “Welcoming Reception and Tradeshow” will take place May 3, 2007, and our 9th Annual Fall Classic Golf Tournament will take place September 22, 2007. Other events are also being considered.

All Associate Members will be included on our website, http://www.bllhma.com, with direct links to all our regular hotel/motel members and to their company. The names and levels of all Associate Members will be included in our official 2007 Member Directory (if registration is received before April 1, 2007.) Directory advertising opportunities are outlined on the Registration Form. Gold and Silver Associate Members will continue to have the opportunity to schedule their representatives to periodically attend our monthly meetings.

We encourage you to join the Banff Lake Louise Hotel Motel Association as an Associate Member. We need your expertise and appreciate your support!
